Caudex width, trunk shape, branching, spine length and the number of active growing points will vary between plants. Gradually acclimatise plants before moving them into stronger sunlight.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eWater:\u003c\/strong\u003e Water thoroughly during active warm-weather growth, then allow the growing media to dry before watering again.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eDormancy:\u003c\/strong\u003e Reduce watering considerably when the plant loses its leaves or stops actively growing. Wear suitable gloves when handling and keep it away from children and pets.
