Aeonium 'Red Fuji'
Aeonium arboreum cv. Red Fuji Variegate
This stunning new Aeonium hybrid produces heads up to 15cm in diameter on short stems reaching up to 50cm in height.
The plant produces numerous offsets as it grows, forming a short, compact scrub. It can easily be cut to maintain its shape, and new heads will form at the cut point. Mature stems may also produce large masses of bright yellow flowers in the autumn.
The Aeonium hybrid should be placed in full sun or partial shade, and is great for gardens, borders, rockeries, or pots. Indoors, it should only be placed in sunny positions or it may lose its nice shape and colour.
It can be watered all year round, and will grow fastest in the winter months. The plant can survive without water for short periods, but should be fertilized with 25% of the recommended dosage monthly during the growing period. A fertiliser high in nitrogen may produce larger plants with less colour. The plant can be left to overgrow its pot or repotted in the warmer months in almost any well-draining potting mix
