T. houston is one of the easiest tillandsias to grow, no matter which region you are from. Highly tolerant of the colder conditions of Melbourne, or the hot humid conditions of Cairns. It also is tolerant of the full sun in Melbourne or shade, so long as it has good air movement.
One of the fastest growing tillandsias. T. Houston quickly clumps up with each rosette reaching approx. 25cm across. The brilliant pink bracts with pale bluish flowers make this a great tillandsia to grow for beginners or the experienced.
