Alocasia baginda 'Silver Dragon' is a tropical plant native to the warm and humid forests of Southeast Asia. This compact Alocasia is treasured for its dramatic silvery-green, heavily veined leaves that resemble dragon scales.
Care Tips
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.
- Water: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy; allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings.
- Humidity: Thrives in high humidity; consider using a humidifier or pebble tray.
- Temperature: Ideal range is 18-27°C; avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature drops.
- Fertiliser: Feed monthly with a diluted liquid fertiliser during the growing season.
- Potting: Use a well-draining mix with added perlite or orchid bark to prevent root rot.
- Propagation: Best propagated through division of offsets during repotting.

- Tuesday Dispatch: Orders placed by Sunday 11:59 PM AEST.
- Friday Dispatch: Orders placed by Wednesday 11:59 PM AEST.
Orders placed after these cut-offs will be dispatched on the next available day.
Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
- $20 fee applies to WA orders.
- $10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping cost at checkout. It covers the mandatory biosecurity treatments (ICA-29, PS-27, ICA-62) required for interstate compliance.
