Begonia 'Sunset Blaze' is a compact rhizomatous hybrid valued for its intense foliage colouring, often displaying a combination of red-orange, gold, and deep plum shades depending on light levels. The leaves are broadly ovate with pointed tips and feature a textured surface with fine serrations along the margins.
Care Tips:
Light: Bright, filtered light enhances leaf colour; avoid prolonged direct sun
Water: Allow top layer of soil to dry out between watering; avoid soggy conditions
Humidity: Requires moderate to high humidity; dry air may cause leaf crisping
Media: Use a well-aerated mix with perlite, fine bark, and organic matter
Temperature: Prefers 18-24°C; protect from drafts and temperature drops
Fertiliser: Apply half-strength balanced fertiliser every 3-4 weeks during growth
Repotting: Repot in early spring if growth slows or pot becomes crowded

Friday Dispatch: Orders placed by Wednesday 11:59 PM AEST.
Orders placed after these cut-offs will be dispatched on the next available day.
Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
$20 fee applies to WA orders.
$10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping cost at checkout. It covers the mandatory biosecurity treatments (ICA-29, PS-27, ICA-62) required for interstate compliance.
