The bulbophyllum ambrosia has stunning pastel yellow flowers in spring, with red stripes and white lips. Each flower is 2-3cm wide and has a delicate fragrance. The bulbs grow from other bulbs, connected by rhizomes, each bulb has its own root ball.
These orchids love to cling onto something, such as bark in a hanging basket, rocks in a pot, etc. You can create a terrarium feel with these orchids as they spread and climb on whatever you choose to pot them in/mount them on.
The water needs are relatively high to medium, watering more in summer when its growing a lot. Use weak fertilizer regularly. Indirect bright light is best.

Treatment & Delay: These orders require biosecurity treatment and certification, which is completed each Friday. Please allow an additional 1–2 weeks for processing.

$20 fee applies to WA orders.
$10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
