Calathea 'Red Mojo'
Calathea c.v. Red Mojo Red Mojo is a stunning cultivar that is well-suited for indoor gardens and terrariums due to its hardiness and ability to thrive in low light.
Its slow growth rate means it requires little maintenance and can be kept small and compact for extended periods, making it ideal for small spaces.
When grown in pots, it should be watered well but allowed to almost dry out between watering's, while in terrariums it should be watered sparingly.
It can be placed in direct sunlight or provided with artificial light but should be kept away from heaters and drafty areas.
Fertilizer should only be used if you want the plant to grow faster and larger, as a lack of fertilizer will keep it shorter and more compact.
Temperatures above 20°C will promote faster growth, while temperatures between 10°C and 20°C will slow down or stop growth, and pruning can help maintain a compact shape.
While hardy, Calathea ornata cannot survive in cold outdoor climates and should be kept on the dryer side during winter.
