Callisia repens 'Pink Lady' is a cultivated form of the species, grown for its compact trailing habit and colourful foliage. The leaves are small, slightly fleshy, and patterned with shades of pink, green, and cream. Native populations of Callisia repens occur in Central and South America, where the species inhabits warm and humid environments, often spreading across the ground in shaded locations. In cultivation, 'Pink Lady' is valued as an ornamental creeper suitable for containers, hanging baskets, and indoor displays.
Care Tips
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain variegation. Too little light results in green-dominant leaves.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist but avoid waterlogging. Allow the top layer to dry slightly before watering again.
Media: A well-draining potting mix is essential.
Fertiliser: Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser during the growing season at half strength.
Temperature: Thrives in warm conditions between 18-26 °C and should be protected from cold draughts.
Repotting: Repot when the plant becomes root-bound or the soil loses structure.

Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
$20 fee applies to WA orders.
$10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping cost at checkout. It covers the mandatory biosecurity treatments (ICA-29, PS-27, ICA-62) required for interstate compliance.
