Cattleya Alliance Rlc Thaksina Pink

Rlc. Thaksina Pink is a hybrid within the Cattleya alliance, producing large, pastel pink flowers with broad petals and a flared lip that may show deeper pink or magenta tones toward the centre. The blooms are typically held on upright stems arising from mature pseudobulbs, often appearing singly or in pairs. Like other Rhyncholaeliocattleya types, it performs best with bright light, warm temperatures, and a defined wet-dry cycle between waterings.

Care Tips:

• Light: Prefers bright, filtered light. Some morning sun is beneficial, but avoid harsh midday exposure.
• Water: Water thoroughly when nearly dry. Do not allow roots to stay wet for extended periods.
• Humidity: Ideal range is 50–70%, with adequate air circulation.
• Media: Medium orchid bark or a Cattleya mix with excellent drainage.
• Temperature: Grows best in intermediate to warm conditions, typically 15–28 °C.
• Fertiliser: Use diluted orchid fertiliser every 2–3 weeks during active growth. Reduce feeding when dormant.
• Repotting: Repot every 2 years or when media breaks down, ideally as new roots begin to emerge.
