A rare and elegant species with arching, cane-like pseudobulbs and clusters of creamy white flowers marked with yellow and orange in the lip. Flowers have a sweet fragrance and appear in spring before new growth emerges.
Care
- Light: Bright, filtered light; protect from strong midday sun.
- Water: Keep moist during growth; reduce slightly after flowering but do not allow to dry out completely.
- Temperature: Intermediate to warm (12–30 °C).
- Media: Fine to medium orchid mix in a well-drained pot, or mounted with moisture-retentive backing.
- Fertiliser: Use a balanced fertiliser during active growth, lighter feeding after flowering.
