Cochemiea mazatlanensis (Syn. Mammillaria)
check_circle In Stock
Cochemiea mazatlanensis is a slender Mexican cactus species previously known as Mammillaria mazatlanensis. It develops upright cylindrical stems covered in fine white radial spines with darker central spines, often showing reddish tones near the growing tip under strong light.
This species remains rarely seen in Australian collections and is not commonly available through mainstream cactus production. Mature plants produce vivid pink flowers near the crown during warmer months, creating a strong contrast against the dense spination.
