Crassula 'Morgan's Beauty' is a charming, low-growing succulent known for its silvery-green, fleshy leaves and striking pink flower clusters. A hybrid of Crassula perfoliata var. falcata and Crassula mesembryanthemoides, it thrives in arid conditions and is popular among succulent collectors.
Distinctive Features
Silvery-green leaves: Thick, fleshy, and slightly powdery leaves grow in tight rosettes, enhancing its unique appeal.
Pink flower clusters: In spring, it produces dense clusters of fragrant, deep pink flowers, attracting pollinators.
Compact growth habit: A slow-growing succulent that remains small, making it ideal for pots and rock gardens.
Care Tips
Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or partial sun. Can tolerate some direct sun but needs protection from harsh afternoon rays.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot.
Humidity: Thrives in low humidity and does not require extra moisture.
Temperature: Best grown in temperatures between 15-25°C. Not frost-hardy, so protect from cold below 5°C.
Fertiliser: Feed with a diluted succulent fertiliser during the growing season (spring and summer) once a month.
Potting: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix with added perlite for aeration.
Propagation: Easily propagated from leaf or stem cuttings. Allow cuttings to dry before planting.
