The original division of Cymbidium Bulbarrow ‘Lazy Possum’ — not a mericlone. This is the authentic selected clone, valued for its distinctive flower patterning, proven vigour, and historical importance within the grex.

Notably, this clone has been regarded as the only fertile selection from the grex, making it especially significant to breeders and serious Cymbidium collectors. Opportunities to obtain the original clone are exceptionally limited.

Many older Cymbidium clones have been lost to time, replaced by unnamed stock or mass-produced selections. ‘Lazy Possum’ stands apart as the original cultivar division, carrying genuine breeding and collector value that cannot be replicated by generic clones.

Care

  • Light: Bright filtered light to morning sun. Good light encourages strong growth and flowering.
  • Water: Keep moist during active growth. Reduce slightly in cooler weather.
  • Temperature: Cool to intermediate conditions suit best.
  • Potting Media: Free-draining Cymbidium bark mix.
  • Feeding: Regular fertiliser through spring and summer.
  • Airflow: Good airflow recommended year-round.

VIC, QLD, NSW, SA & ACT: Sunday 11:59 pm cut-off. Orders are generally prepared from Monday and dispatched by Thursday. Allow up to 9 working days for processing.

WA, TAS & NT: Thursday 11:59 pm cut-off for Friday treatment. Orders are generally prepared from Monday and dispatched by Thursday. Allow up to 10 working days for treatment, certification and processing.

Dispatch dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by biosecurity requirements, weather, public holidays, order volumes and plant preparation.

Express Shipping speeds up transit after dispatch only. It does not speed up processing, treatment or certification.

Biosecurity Fees:

  • WA & TAS: $20 per order
  • NT: $10 per order

Fees are included at checkout and help cover mandatory plant treatment and health certification.

Important:

Where certification is required, a physical address must be supplied for traceability. Delivery to a PO Box is still allowed.
