Cymbidium Henna was registered by K. S. Tan in 1987 from the cross between Cymbidium Harriet Ishitani and Cymbidium Kumpei Nagai. Plants produce arching spikes carrying bronze-red flowers with contrasting lips, influenced by both parents. It is a reliable grower for cool to temperate conditions and is best maintained in pots for ease of display.
