Cymbidium Lady Angela 'Redvale' – Pink Flowers on Upright Spikes

Cymbidium Lady Angela 'Redvale' is a selected cultivar from the grex Cymbidium Lady Angela, registered in 1992 by R. Tucker. It is bred from Cymbidium Yowie Flame × Cymbidium Via Del Playa. This standard-type hybrid is known for its vibrant pink flowers, typically lasting up to 12 weeks. Each inflorescence carries 8 to 15 flowers around 11 cm wide on long, upright stems. Suitable only for pot culture, it is well-suited to temperate and cool-climate growing under shelter or shadehouse conditions.

Care Notes

  • Position: Bright filtered light or morning sun
  • Water: Maintain consistent moisture during active growth; reduce watering in winter
  • Potting: Use a free-draining orchid bark mix; never plant in-ground
  • Feeding: Fertilise fortnightly during growing season; switch to bloom booster approaching flowering
  • Climate: Best in cool to temperate climates (10–28°C); frost protection required
  • Repotting: Every 2–3 years after flowering or when the pot becomes crowded

  • Cut-off for Same Week Dispatch: Orders must be placed by Monday 7am (AEST) to be sent that week. Orders placed after this will be dispatched the following Tuesday.

WA, NT & TAS Orders

  • Cut-off: Orders to WA, NT and TAS must be placed by Friday 7am (AEST) to be included in the following week’s dispatch.
  • Treatment & Delay: These orders require biosecurity treatment and certification, which is completed each Friday. Please allow an additional 1–2 weeks for processing.

Plant Health Certification (PHAC) Fees

  • $20 fee applies to WA orders.
  • $10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
  • This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping cost at checkout.
