Cymbidium Mary Green 'Cream Puff' is a selected cultivar from the grex Cymbidium Mary Green, bred from Cymbidium Sarah Jean × Cymbidium devonianum. Registered in 1991 by J. & H. Larsen, this hybrid is noted for its subtle cream-toned blooms with a delicate pink lip, produced on multiple spikes from a single bulb. Flowering typically occurs from July to August. This compact plant is ideal for pot culture in cool to temperate climates.

Care Tips

  • Position: Bright filtered light; morning sun preferred.
  • Water: Water regularly during growth; reduce slightly in winter.
  • Potting: Always use a free-draining orchid mix; never plant directly in the ground.
  • Feeding: Fertilise every 2 weeks in active growth; reduce during winter and flowering.
  • Climate: Best in cool to temperate conditions (10–28°C); protect from frost.
  • Repotting: Every 2–3 years, ideally after flowering finishes.

Biosecurity States (WA, NT, TAS): These orders require mandatory biosecurity treatment (PHC) and follow a specific weekly schedule:

  • Cut-off: Orders must be placed by Thursday 11:59 PM AEST.
  • Dispatch Day: Orders are processed over the weekend and dispatched on Tuesday.

Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:

  • $20 fee applies to WA orders.
  • $10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders. This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping costat checkout.
