Cymbidium Paradisian Beach 'Pink Sensation' is a selected cultivar from the grex Cymbidium Paradisian Beach, a registered hybrid between Cymbidium Sarah Jean and Cymbidium Solana Beach. Registered by Paradisia Nurseries in 2007, this orchid produces 7 cm soft pink flowers with subtle pink spots across the petals and a pink-spotted lip with a yellow throat. It flowers in July and is well suited to pot culture under cool to temperate conditions.

Care Tips

  • Position: Bright filtered light or morning sun
  • Water: Water regularly during active growth; reduce in winter
  • Potting: Use a free-draining orchid mix; always in pots, not in-ground
  • Feeding: Fertilise fortnightly during active growth; switch to bloom booster in late autumn
  • Climate: Cool to temperate climates; protect from frost
  • Repotting: Every 2–3 years after flowering or when root-bound

Biosecurity Fees:

Important:

Where certification is required, a physical address must be supplied for traceability. Delivery to a PO Box is still allowed.
