Dendrobium Wave King 'Akebono' is a cultivated hybrid within the Dendrobium genus, valued for its showy, long-lasting flowers. Like many hybrids in this group, it is derived from species native to tropical and subtropical Asia, where Dendrobiums typically grow on trees or rocks in bright, airy environments. Wave King produces multiple upright canes that can flower profusely when mature, with blooms often in shades of pink and purple. It is grown both for display in pots and as a cut flower due to its durability.  

Distinctive Features:

• Flowers: Large, cream-white petals with delicate hints of pink and purple, creating a beautiful contrast around a yellow centre.
