This cultivar is derived from Dudleya gnoma, a species restricted to the northern Channel Islands of California where it naturally occurs on rocky coastal slopes and outcrops. In cultivation, 'White Sprite' is valued for its small, symmetrical rosettes of pale, chalk-coated leaves that maintain a tight form. Its glaucous foliage provides natural protection from sun and drought, reflecting light and limiting water loss.
Care Tips:
