Echeveria purpusorum ‘White Form’ is a cultivated form of the species Echeveria purpusorum, which is native to Puebla and Oaxaca, Mexico. While the wild species grows on rocky slopes and cliffs, this selected form is valued for its compact rosettes of short, triangular leaves that display pale silvery-green to white tones rather than the deeper green with red speckling seen in the typical form. Its slower growth and solitary habit make it well suited for container culture and collectors seeking unusual colour variations. Flowers are produced in spring to early summer and are typically orange to red with yellow tips, rising on short, arching stalks above the rosette.

Care Tips:

  • Light – Prefers bright, indirect light to full sun for best growth and to maintain its pale leaf colouration.
  • Water – Allow soil to dry thoroughly between watering; reduce watering during cooler months.
  • Humidity – Adapted to low humidity conditions.
  • Media – Use a coarse, free-draining cactus and succulent mix.
  • Temperature – Ideal temperature range is 15–27 °C; protect from frost.
  • Fertiliser – Use a diluted, balanced fertiliser during the active growing season.

Non-Biosecurity States (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA): We now offer two dispatches per week for these regions:

  • Friday Dispatch: Orders placed by Wednesday 11:59 PM AEST. Orders placed after these cut-offs will be dispatched on the next available day.

Biosecurity States (WA, NT, TAS): These orders require mandatory biosecurity treatment (PHC) and follow a specific weekly schedule:

  • Cut-off: Orders must be placed by Thursday 11:59 PM AEST.
  • Dispatch Day: Orders are processed over the weekend and dispatched on Tuesday.

Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:

  • $20 fee applies to WA orders.
  • $10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders. This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping costat checkout.
