Echeveria 'Raindrops' is a distinctive cultivar with thick blue-green leaves marked by a raised, rounded bump near the tip of each mature leaf. These natural leaf protuberances give the rosette a textured look that is unusual among Echeverias. The foliage can take on pinkish edges when exposed to bright light or cooler weather, adding seasonal contrast to the blue-green base. In late spring to summer, tall slender stalks emerge carrying orange to red flowers.

Care Tips:

  • Light - Provide bright, indirect light to full sun to maintain compact growth and enhance leaf colouring.
  • Water - Water thoroughly and allow the soil to dry completely before watering again; reduce watering in cooler months.
  • Humidity - Tolerates low humidity well.
  • Media - Use a coarse, free-draining cactus and succulent mix.
  • Temperature - Thrives in temperatures of 15-27 °C; protect from frost.
  • Fertiliser - Apply a diluted, balanced fertiliser during the active growing season.
  • Repotting - Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its container.

WA, TAS & NT: Thursday 11:59 pm cut-off for Friday treatment. Orders are generally prepared from Monday and dispatched by Thursday. Allow up to 10 working days for treatment, certification and processing.

Dispatch dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by biosecurity requirements, weather, public holidays, order volumes and plant preparation.

Express Shipping speeds up transit after dispatch only. It does not speed up processing, treatment or certification.

Biosecurity Fees:

  • WA & TAS: $20 per order
  • NT: $10 per order

Fees are included at checkout and help cover mandatory plant treatment and health certification.

Important:

Where certification is required, a physical address must be supplied for traceability. Delivery to a PO Box is still allowed.
