Echinocereus moricalii is a compact columnar species with smooth green ribs and fine, widely spaced areoles. At this juvenile stage it forms short, upright stems and may produce offsets from the base as it matures.
Care
- Light: Bright light to full sun once acclimated
- Water: Water thoroughly during warm months; allow the mix to dry between waterings
- Temperature: Warm growing season; keep dry and protected from frost in winter
- Media: Very free-draining cactus mix with a high mineral content
- Feeding: Light feeding during active growth
