Echinopsis 'Haku-jo' is a sought-after Japanese cultivar grown for its unusual white variegation and sculptural ribbed form. Each plant develops its own patterning, making every specimen slightly different and highly collectable.
Care
- Light: Bright light to full sun. Best colour and compact growth with several hours of sun.
- Water: Water thoroughly during active growth, then allow mix to dry before watering again.
- Temperature: Prefers warm conditions in spring and summer. Keep drier during cold weather.
- Media: Free-draining cactus mix with added mineral content such as pumice or coarse sand.
- Feeding: Use a low-strength cactus fertiliser during the growing season.
- Growth Habit: Upright to clustering over time, depending on age and form.
