Echinopsis subdenudata f. cristata is a spectacularly unique cactus that develops striking, contorted, and fan-like growth due to its crested mutation. Native to South America, this rare form arises from a genetic anomaly in the standard species, resulting in mesmerizing rippling ridges.
Distinctive Features
Crested Growth: Develops an unusual, undulating, fan-like structure instead of a regular cylindrical shape, making each specimen one-of-a-kind.
Spination: Features soft, white spines along its ridges, adding to its delicate, yet architectural appearance.
Flowers: Produces large, fragrant, white, funnel-shaped blooms that open at night, enhancing its mystique.
Care Tips
Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or partial shade; avoid prolonged exposure to harsh midday sun.
Water: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings; reduce watering during winter dormancy.
Humidity: Prefers dry conditions and tolerates low humidity well.
Media: Thrives in a well-draining cactus mix with added sand or perlite.

ALL STATES (including WA, NT, TAS): We now offer a universal, streamlined schedule with two dispatches per week for all regions. This schedule includes all necessary biosecurity treatment and processing for plants sent interstate.
Tuesday Dispatch: Orders placed by Sunday 11:59 PM AEST.
Friday Dispatch: Orders placed by Wednesday 11:59 PM AEST.
Orders placed after these cut-offs will be dispatched on the next available day.
Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
$20 fee applies to WA orders.
$10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping cost at checkout. It covers the mandatory biosecurity treatments (ICA-29, PS-27, ICA-62) required for interstate compliance.
