Epiphyllum 'Satin Ruffles' is a hybrid orchid cactus valued for its large, elegant flowers. It produces broad, flattened stems that arch and trail, similar to its parent species from Central and South America. The blooms are creamy white with a soft yellow flush, their petals gently ruffled at the edges, giving the flower a textured, layered appearance. They are typically produced in warmer months and open widely, often in the evening or night.

Care Tips

  • Light: Best in bright, indirect light; protect from strong midday sun to avoid stem damage.
  • Water: Keep evenly moist during the growing and flowering period, reducing watering in cooler months.
  • Media: Prefers a coarse, well-draining mix enriched with organic material.

WA, TAS & NT: Thursday 11:59 pm cut-off for Friday treatment. Orders are generally prepared from Monday and dispatched by Thursday. Allow up to 10 working days for treatment, certification and processing.

Dispatch dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by biosecurity requirements, weather, public holidays, order volumes and plant preparation.

Express Shipping speeds up transit after dispatch only. It does not speed up processing, treatment or certification.

Biosecurity Fees:

  • WA & TAS: $20 per order
  • NT: $10 per order

Fees are included at checkout and help cover mandatory plant treatment and health certification.

Important:

Where certification is required, a physical address must be supplied for traceability. Delivery to a PO Box is still allowed.
