Euphorbia duranii is a slender, upright species characterised by its narrow, spiny stem topped with a compact crown of green leaves. The stem is densely armed with short, sharp spines arranged in regular rows, giving the plant a strong architectural form despite its relatively small size.
This species is native to Madagascar and grows slowly, forming a single column with seasonal leaf growth at the apex. Plants are supplied as established, rooted specimens grown under nursery conditions.
