WA Restricted - Cannot be shipped to Western Australia.
Euphorbia enopla is a branching, spiny succulent species native to the arid regions of South Africa and Namibia, typically found in well-drained, rocky soils under full sun. It forms upright, cylindrical stems with prominent ridges and striking paired spines that emerge from short, hardened stipules. Stem colour ranges from blue-green to grey-green, often developing reddish tones under strong light. During the warmer months, mature plants may produce small yellow cyathia near the stem tips, sometimes appearing singly or in small clusters.
Care Tips:
- Light – Requires full sun to partial shade; strong light encourages compact growth and spine colouration
- Water – Water sparingly; allow soil to dry out completely before watering again
- Humidity – Thrives in dry environments with good airflow
- Media – Use a sharply draining cactus mix with added sand or pumice
- Temperature – Maintain above 10°C; protect from prolonged cold or frost
- Fertiliser – Feed with a diluted cactus fertiliser during active growth
- Repotting – Repot every few years or when roots fill the container
Additional Notes:
- Known to be toxic
