An attractive shrubby Euphorbia species from East Africa, forming upright, deeply ridged stems with prominent spines along the ridges. Over time, it can branch to form a sculptural clump. This plant will be sent bare-rooted (without soil) for safe shipping.

  • Temperature: Warm-growing; protect from frost and prolonged cold.
  • Media: Free-draining succulent mix is essential to prevent rot.
  • Fertiliser: Use a dilute balanced fertiliser during the active growing season.

Key Characteristics

  • Growth Habit: Upright, columnar succulent
  • Stem Shape: Deeply ridged with spines along the edges
  • Size: Can reach 1–2 m tall over time
  • Branching: Clumps from the base as it matures
  • Display: Excellent statement plant for large pots or sunny positions
