Euphorbia meloformis variegata (WA Prohibited)

Euphorbia meloformis variegata is a cultivated form of this globose succulent species, selected for its irregular cream, yellow, and green marbling across shallowly ribbed stems. The species is native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa, where it grows in exposed, rocky terrain with minimal organic matter. This variegated form retains the paired reddish spines along each rib and may produce small yellow cyathia near the crown during warm months. Colour intensity often responds to light levels, though excessive sun may cause bleaching or stress.

• Light – Prefers bright light with some direct sun; avoid prolonged intense exposure
• Water – Water thoroughly but only when soil is dry; reduce frequency in winter
• Humidity – Best in dry conditions with good airflow
• Media – Requires a sharply draining cactus mix with added mineral content
