WA Restricted - Cannot be shipped to Western Australia.
Euphorbia polygona is a spiny succulent native to the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, where it grows in dry, stony soils under full sun. This cultivar is the 'Snowflake' form of Euphorbia polygona, selected for its pale grey to white stems with pronounced ridges and spiny margins. The stems are upright and usually solitary or forming small clumps with age. Each rib bears short paired spines, and mature plants produce dark purple to nearly black cyathia from the upper ribs during the warmer seasons.
Care Tips:
- Light – Requires full sun to maintain compact form and pale colouration
- Water – Water sparingly; allow soil to dry completely between waterings
- Humidity – Prefers dry air; avoid high humidity or poor ventilation
- Media – Use a well-draining cactus mix with added grit or pumice
- Temperature – Keep above 10°C; sensitive to cold and frost
- Fertiliser – Apply a diluted, low-nitrogen cactus fertiliser during the growing season
- Repotting – Repot every few years or when rootbound; handle with care due to spines
Additional Notes:
- Known to be toxic
