Fittonia 'Pink Star'

Fittonias are colourful rainforest creepers that love to mix things up. One batch of cuttings can throw white, yellow, pink, green and red, from fine netted veins to broad colour panels. They crawl and root as they travel, take pruning in stride, wilt dramatically when dry and bounce back after a proper soak. Keep light soft, moisture even and the air warm and humid to keep patterns crisp.

Fittonia 'Pink Star' has elongated leaves with bold pink venation that spreads across a pale green to creamy background. The leaf centres are lighter, often nearly white, with the surrounding veins forming a vivid star-like effect that gives the plant its name.

Care Tips:

• Light: Place in bright, indirect light to enhance colour contrast.
• Water: Keep the potting mix evenly moist; do not allow to dry out completely.
• Humidity: Requires high humidity to prevent leaf edges from browning.
• Temperature: Prefers warm indoor conditions, 18-24°C is ideal.
• Fertiliser: Apply a diluted balanced fertiliser during the active growing season.
• Repotting: Refresh the soil every couple of years to maintain vigour.
