Fittonias are colourful rainforest creepers that love to mix things up. One batch of cuttings can throw white, yellow, pink, green and red, from fine netted veins to broad colour panels. They crawl and root as they travel, take pruning in stride, wilt dramatically when dry and bounce back after a proper soak. Keep light soft, moisture even and the air warm and humid to keep patterns crisp.
Fittonia 'Red Cloud' has rounded leaves mottled in shades of pink and red, with darker green edges that frame the foliage. The spotting and veining merge into a clouded pattern, giving it a softer, less linear look compared to strongly veined cultivars.
Care Tips:
- Light: Best grown in moderate to bright indirect light.
- Water: Keep soil evenly moist; do not allow to dry out completely.
- Humidity: Prefers consistently high humidity; suitable for terrariums.
- Temperature: Maintain warm indoor conditions, ideally 18–24°C.
- Fertiliser: Apply a weak liquid fertiliser every few weeks in the growing season.
- Repotting: Refresh the potting mix when roots become crowded or growth slows.

Dispatch & Shipping Information
Non-Biosecurity States (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA): We now offer two dispatches per week for these regions:
- Tuesday Dispatch: Orders placed by Sunday 11:59 PM AEST.
- Friday Dispatch: Orders placed by Wednesday 11:59 PM AEST. Orders placed after these cut-offs will be dispatched on the next available day.
Biosecurity States (WA, NT, TAS): These orders require mandatory biosecurity treatment (PHC) and follow a specific weekly schedule:
- Cut-off: Orders must be placed by Thursday 11:59 PM AEST.
- Dispatch Day: Orders are processed over the weekend and dispatched on Tuesday.
Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
- $20 fee applies to WA orders.
- $10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders. This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping costat checkout.
