Haworthia limifolia var. striata ‘Spider White’

Haworthia limifolia var. striata ‘Spider White’ is a compact, slow-growing succulent selected for its strongly patterned foliage. The pointed green leaves are covered in contrasting white raised bands, producing a distinctive striped appearance.

Mature plants gradually form offsets around the original rosette, eventually developing into dense clumps. This species is also commonly placed in the genus Haworthiopsis and may be encountered as Haworthiopsis limifolia.

Care

• Light: Bright filtered light to partial shade. Gentle morning sun is suitable, but protect from strong afternoon sun.
• Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the potting mix to become almost dry before watering again. Avoid keeping the plant constantly wet.
• Media: Use a coarse, free-draining cactus and succulent mix.
• Temperature: Protect from frost and prolonged cold, wet conditions.
• Feeding: Feed lightly during active growth. Excess fertiliser, particularly nitrogen, can produce softer and less compact growth.
