Hoya carnosa ‘Pink Flower’ - H141
release_alert Low Stock - 2 available
Hoya carnosa ‘Pink Flower’ is a reliable and attractive Hoya selected for its large clusters of soft pink, star-shaped flowers. The blooms have a finely textured surface, pale waxy centres and deeper pink markings around the corona.
The glossy green foliage may develop light silver flecking, with the amount varying naturally between leaves and individual plants.
Plants are selected from the current batch. The photographs show the general size and quality supplied; the plant received may vary naturally in foliage, growth and silver markings.
Distinctive Features
- Flowers: Soft pink, star-shaped blooms with darker pink centres
- Flowering habit: Flowers are produced in rounded clusters
- Foliage: Thick, glossy green leaves with occasional silver flecking
- Growth habit: Climbing or trailing vines
- Training: Suitable for growing on a trellis or in a hanging basket

Flowering
The flower photograph shows the expected bloom. Plants are not necessarily supplied in flower or with developing buds.
Once flowering begins, avoid removing the old flower spurs. Established peduncles can produce flowers repeatedly over successive seasons.
Care
- Light: Bright, filtered light to gentle morning sun. Good light encourages stronger growth and flowering.
- Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the growing media to partially dry before watering again.
- Media: Use an open, free-draining Hoya or epiphytic mix.
- Temperature: Best grown in warm conditions. Protect from frost and prolonged temperatures below approximately 10°C.
- Humidity: Average to moderately high humidity is suitable when accompanied by good air movement.
- Fertiliser: Feed lightly during active growth using a balanced fertiliser at reduced strength.
- Repotting: Hoyas generally perform well in relatively snug pots. Repot only when required.
Transport Note
Long runners may be gently curved or secured for transport. Minor leaf movement or cosmetic marking may occur during packing and delivery without affecting the plant’s health.
