Distinctive Features
- Leaves: Thick, succulent leaves with a distinctive velvety texture. The leaves are dark green with lighter speckles and are covered in tiny hairs, giving them a fuzzy appearance.
- Flowers: Produces clusters of reflexed, star-shaped flowers in shades of pink and red. The flowers have a fuzzy texture and a sweet fragrance.
- Growth Habit: This Hoya is a vining epiphyte that thrives with a support to climb, such as a trellis or moss pole. It can also be grown in a hanging basket.
Care Tips
- Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
