A highly sought-after species producing large clusters of waxy, soft yellow flowers with a white and peach-pink centre. Hoya cominsii is admired for its dense umbels and clean, symmetrical blooms that appear in abundance on mature plants. Native to the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea, it’s a vigorous grower once established and makes an impressive display when trained on a trellis or hanging basket. Supplied as well-established plants in 100 mm pots.

Care

  • Light: Bright filtered light or gentle morning sun.
  • Water: Water thoroughly when the top of the mix begins to dry.
  • Temperature: Warm to intermediate; protect from cold drafts and frost.
  • Media: Open, airy potting mix containing bark or perlite.
  • Feeding: Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2–3 weeks during growth.

  • Colour: Pale yellow petals with white centres and a soft peach hue in the corona.

Dispatch & Shipping Information

Non-Biosecurity States (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA): We now offer two dispatches per week for these regions:

  • Tuesday Dispatch: Orders placed by Sunday 11:59 PM AEST.
  • Friday Dispatch: Orders placed by Wednesday 11:59 PM AEST. Orders placed after these cut-offs will be dispatched on the next available day.

Biosecurity States (WA, NT, TAS): These orders require mandatory biosecurity treatment (PHC) and follow a specific weekly schedule:

  • Cut-off: Orders must be placed by Thursday 11:59 PM AEST.
  • Dispatch Day: Orders are processed over the weekend and dispatched on Tuesday.

Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:

  • $20 fee applies to WA orders.
  • $10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders. This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping costat checkout.
