Hoya davidcummingii – H041
release_alert Low Stock - 2 available
Hoya davidcummingii is a compact Hoya species grown for its attractive foliage and distinctive clusters of rich pink to red flowers. This plant is maintained in our collection as Collection Number 41.
The flowers are produced in rounded umbels, with reflexed red to deep pink petals surrounding contrasting lighter centres. Established plants can flower repeatedly from the same peduncles.
Care
- Light: Bright filtered light to gentle morning sun. Good light encourages compact growth and flowering.
- Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the mix to partially dry before watering again. Avoid keeping the roots constantly wet.
- Media: Use an open, free-draining Hoya mix with good air around the roots.
- Temperature: Best grown in warm to intermediate conditions. Protect from frost and prolonged cold.
- Humidity: Moderate to high humidity is suitable when combined with good air movement.
- Feeding: Feed lightly during active growth with a balanced fertiliser.
