Hoya krohniana ‘Super Silver’ & ‘Eskimo’ - H218/H155 - Mature Mixed Specimen
release_alert Low Stock - 1 available
This remarkable hanging basket contains an established mixture of Hoya krohniana ‘Super Silver’ - H218 and Hoya krohniana ‘Eskimo’ - H155. The plant is more than five years old, with a dense crown of mature growth and numerous long, trailing vines.
You will receive the exact plant photographed. Large, established Hoya krohniana baskets like this are exceptionally difficult to source. Its value lies in its age, extensive growth and the years required to produce a specimen of this size.
Two Forms in One Basket
This specimen contains a mixture of two silver-leaved forms:
- Hoya krohniana ‘Super Silver’ - H218: Produces heavily silvered foliage, with some leaves appearing almost completely silver.
- Hoya krohniana ‘Eskimo’ - H155: Produces green leaves with variable silver mottling and splashing.
The two forms have grown together throughout the basket, creating natural variation from green and silver-speckled leaves through to strongly silvered foliage. They will not be separated before sale.

Flowering Condition
The specimen was flowering when photographed, with multiple flower clusters visible. Hoya flowers are temporary, and the blooms may have finished or dropped naturally before the plant is purchased or dispatched.
The plant is sold as a mature specimen and is not guaranteed to be in flower when supplied. The existing peduncles should be retained, as they can produce flowers again under suitable growing conditions.
Mature Plant Condition
This is a genuine mature specimen that has been growing for more than five years. It has older stems, spent flower peduncles and natural variations in leaf condition throughout the basket.
Some leaves have age-related marks, discolouration, spotting or other cosmetic imperfections. There are also bare sections along some of the older trailing vines. These characteristics are normal in a plant of this age and are visible in the photographs.
Care
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Gentle morning sun can help maintain strong silver patterning and encourage flowering.
- Water: Water thoroughly, then allow most of the potting mix to dry before watering again. The fine roots respond best to a consistent watering rhythm.
- Temperature: Prefers stable temperatures between 18–30 °C.
- Humidity: Moderate humidity supports foliage quality and flowering.
- Potting mix: Use an airy, chunky and free-draining Hoya mix.
- Fertiliser: Feed lightly and regularly during active growth in the warmer months.
Transporting a Large Specimen
We will pack this plant carefully, but a trailing specimen of this size cannot be secured as rigidly as a small plant. Some leaf loss, displaced vines or minor stem damage may occur during transport. The vines will require careful unpacking and may need to be rearranged after arrival.
Please consider this before purchasing. Minor cosmetic or transport damage does not affect the established nature or long-term value of this mature plant.
