WA prohibited — this plant cannot be shipped to Western Australia.
This is a mature specimen of Hoya peltata, a distinctive species grown for its small, rounded leaves and dense trailing growth. The firm, coin-like foliage is carried along fine stems that gradually form a full, cascading plant.
The plant shown in the photograph is the exact plant offered for sale. This is a one-off, established specimen with a substantial mass of trailing growth surrounding its orchid-style pot.
Care
- Light: Bright, filtered light with protection from harsh direct sun.
- Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the growing medium to dry partially before watering again.
- Temperature: Best grown under warm to intermediate conditions. Protect from cold temperatures.
- Growing medium: Use a very open, free-draining epiphytic mix with good airflow around the roots.
- Humidity and airflow: Moderate to high humidity is beneficial, provided the plant receives consistent air movement.
- Feeding: Apply a balanced fertiliser lightly during active growth.

Specimen Plant Information
This listing is for the exact plant photographed. It is a mature, well-established specimen rather than a small starter plant. Its long stems can be allowed to trail naturally or arranged around a support.
Older specimen Hoyas naturally develop minor leaf marks, bare stem sections, previous growing points and uneven growth. These characteristics are consistent with a mature plant and should not be considered faults.
The trailing stems will be carefully gathered for packing. Some movement, displaced leaves or minor stem-tip damage may occur during transport despite careful preparation.
Shipping Restriction
This species is prohibited from shipment to Western Australia. Orders placed for delivery to WA will be cancelled and refunded.
