Hoya sigillatis ‘Borneo – Wide Leaf’ is a striking, patterned species with broad silver-flecked leaves and warm-toned flowers. It’s a rewarding plant for collectors who enjoy distinctive foliage and a reliable bloomer in bright indoor positions.
Key Characteristics
- Foliage: Broad, thick leaves heavily patterned with silver speckling – more substantial than the narrow-leaf sigillatis forms.
- Flowers: Clusters of soft peach to orange blooms with contrasting pink centres.
- Growth habit: Semi-trailing vines with slow to moderate growth once established.
- Flowering behaviour: Produces compact umbels when given stable warmth and light.

- Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity but adapts well to indoor levels.
- Temperature: Warm-growing species well suited to Australian indoor conditions.
