Hoya tengchongensis - H250 - Large Mature Specimen (WA Prohibited)

This is a large, mature and exceptionally well-established specimen of Hoya tengchongensis - H250. It has developed a substantial cascade of fine vines and small foliage extending well below the hanging basket.

You will receive the exact plant photographed. Mature specimens of this finer-rooted species are extremely difficult to source. Its value reflects its size, established root system and the years required to produce this amount of growth.

Flowers

Hoya tengchongensis produces small rounded clusters of pale pink to cream flowers with slightly deeper centres. The flowers may carry a light fragrance under warm conditions.

This specimen is sold as a mature plant and is not guaranteed to be flowering when purchased or dispatched. Any flowers or developing buds visible at the time of sale may finish or drop naturally before the plant is supplied.

Mature Plant Condition

This is a genuine mature specimen rather than a recently produced young plant. Its extensive growth includes older vines, bare sections, previous growth points and natural variations in leaf condition.

Some leaves have age-related marks, discolouration, spotting or other cosmetic imperfections. These characteristics are visible in the photograph and should be expected in a plant of this age and size. They do not detract from its established nature or value as a difficult-to-replace specimen.

Care

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Gentle morning sun is suitable.
• Water: Allow most of the potting mix to dry before watering again. Its fine roots benefit from a steady and consistent watering rhythm.
• Temperature: Performs best between 18–30 °C with stable warmth.
• Humidity: Moderate humidity supports consistent growth and flowering.
• Potting mix: Use a chunky, airy and free-draining Hoya mix containing fine bark and coarse perlite.
• Fertiliser: Feed lightly during active growth in the warmer months.

Transporting a Large Specimen

We will pack this plant carefully, but its many fine, tangled vines cannot be individually secured. Some leaf loss, displaced vines and minor stem breakage may occur during transport.

The plant will need to be unpacked slowly, and its trailing growth may require careful rearranging after arrival. Please consider this before purchasing. Minor cosmetic or transport damage does not affect the established nature or long-term value of the specimen.
