Key Characteristics
- Name: Hoya waymaniae ‘Malaysia’
- Growth Habit: Vining, tropical species with sturdy stems
- Leaf Features: Thick, green, lightly textured leaves that develop character with maturity

- Fragrance: Mild, sweet tropical scent
- Pot Size Supplied: 100 mm
- Skill Level: Intermediate
- Growth Speed: Moderate

- Seasonal Note: As a warm tropical species, it grows and flowers best in the warmer months—see Seasonal Hoya Care for Australian Growers for guidance.
Growing Conditions

- Temperature: Warm grower—keep away from cold drafts. Performs best with consistent warmth.
- Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity, which encourages fuller flower clusters.
- Potting Mix: Prefers a chunky, airy mix for strong root development. Learn more in Understanding Hoya Roots.
- Fertiliser: Feed during active growth to support flowering—see Grow Hoyas Faster & Get More Flowers.
