Originating from the lush jungles of Malaysia, Hoya waymaniae 'Malaysia' is a sought-after variety prized for its dramatic foliage and vibrant flowers.
Distinctive Features
- Leaves: Thick, succulent leaves in a deep green hue. The leaves have a slightly wavy edge and can develop a stunning reddish-purple coloration when exposed to bright light, creating a beautiful contrast with the green veins.
- Flowers: Produces clusters of small, fuzzy, bell-shaped flowers in a captivating orange or yellow color with a darker red center. The flowers have a light, sweet fragrance.
- Growth Habit: As a vining epiphyte, it naturally grows on trees. It thrives in hanging baskets or with a support to climb.
