release_alert Low Stock - 1 available
The cristate form (Mammillaria bocasana f. cristata), often called “Brain Cactus,” produces dense, twisting crests that form tight, sculptural clumps over time. Plants can reach 15–20 cm across in 5–10 years under good culture. This plant will be sent bare-rooted (without soil) for safe shipping.
Care

- Temperature: Prefers warm, dry conditions; protect from frost.
- Media: Free-draining cactus mix to prevent rot.
- Fertiliser: Apply low-nitrogen cactus fertiliser during active growth for best form.

- Spines: Fine white spines giving a fuzzy appearance
- Flowers: Pink blooms appearing along the crests in spring
