Melocactus are an unusual genus of cacti that stop growing when mature and form a cephalium which is a crown on top of the plant where flowers are formed. This cephalium will continue to grow for the next 20 or so years producing new flowers and seed pods each year.

Dispatch day is Tuesday/Wednesday, orders placed after Monday will be sent the following week. WA, NT and Tas cut off day is Thursday for the following week dispatch as our treatment processes are done of a Friday.
Note: Due to government requirements, Plant Health Certification (PHAC) charges of $20 will apply to WA, and $10 to NT and Tas. This fee will be incorporated into the shipping cost. This fee is per order, not per plant. Orders may take 1-2 weeks extra processing time for treatment and documentation.
