check_circle In Stock
Monstera deliciosa 'Thai Constellation' is a highly sought-after houseplant that will undoubtedly become the star of your plant collection. This stunning variety is prized for its iconic fenestrated leaves adorned with creamy white variegation, adding a touch of tropical elegance to any space.
Distinctive Features
- Leaves: Large, heart-shaped leaves with signature fenestrations (splits and holes). The leaves are a vibrant green colour with beautiful creamy white variegation, creating a stunning contrast. Each leaf is unique, showcasing a different pattern of variegation.
- Growth Habit: This Monstera is a vining plant that can climb up to 3 metres (10 feet) tall with proper support. It can also be grown as a trailing plant in a hanging basket.
Care Tips
- Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
- Humidity: This Monstera enjoys moderate to high humidity. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, placing the plant on a pebble tray filled with water, or using a humidifier.
- Temperature: Maintain comfortable room temperatures between 18-27°C (65-80°F). Avoid exposing this plant to cold draughts or temperatures below 13°C (55°F).
- Fertiliser: Use a balanced liquid fertiliser once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
- Support: Provide a moss pole or other support for the plant to climb as it grows. This will encourage larger leaves and a more robust growth habit.
- Pruning: Prune any dead or yellowing leaves as needed. You can also prune the plant to control its size and shape.
Additional Notes
- This plant is toxic to pets if ingested, so keep it out of reach of curious animals.
