Monstera deliciosa 'Thai Constellation' – Original Thai Lineage (Bare Rooted) - One Off Specials
release_alert Low Stock - 1 available
Monstera deliciosa 'Thai Constellation' is a famed variegated form of this tropical species, but this individual stands apart. Propagated from the original plant imported directly from Thailand—the very one used to establish clone lines across Australia—this one-of-a-kind specimen is the closest living link to the cultivar’s origin. Unavailable anywhere else, and offered as a single release only.
Distinctive Features
- Unparalleled provenance: Directly descended from the original Thai import used to produce all Australian clones.
- Eye-catching variegation: Lavish cream and green marbling with occasional full-sector blotching, uniquely patterned.
- Genuine collector rarity: A singular opportunity to own an irreplaceable piece of modern aroid history.
Care Tips
- Light: Bright, indirect light enhances variegation and encourages even growth.
- Water: Water thoroughly when the top few centimetres of substrate have dried; avoid overwatering.
- Humidity: Prefers high humidity (above 60%) but can tolerate average indoor levels.
- Temperature: Thrives in warm environments between 18–28°C; protect from cold drafts.
- Fertiliser: Balanced liquid fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during active growth; reduce in winter.
- Potting: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix with bark, perlite, and coir.
- Propagation: Stem cuttings with at least one node and aerial root segment.
Additional Notes
- Variegated portions lack chlorophyll and should be protected from strong sun to avoid scorching.
- Plant will be sent bare rooted.
- Toxic if ingested by pets or children—keep out of reach.
