Myrtillocactus geometrizans cristata is a crested form of this well-known blue cactus, valued for its architectural, fan-shaped growth. This particular plant displays a smooth crested expression, with compressed ribs and very sparse to absent spination.
The smooth surface gives the plant a flowing, sculptural appearance that differs noticeably from more heavily ribbed or spined crested forms. As with all crested cacti, each specimen develops a unique shape and growth pattern.
Care
- Light: Bright light with some gentle direct sun. Avoid sudden exposure to harsh midday sun.
- Water: Water sparingly. Allow the mix to dry fully between watering.
- Temperature: Warm conditions preferred. Protect from frost.
- Growing media: Very free-draining cactus mix with high mineral content.
- Feeding: Light feeding during the growing season only.

Plant Health Certification (PHC) Fees:
- $20 fee applies to WA orders.
- $10 fee applies to NT and TAS orders.
This fee is per order (not per plant) and is included in your shipping cost at checkout. It covers the mandatory biosecurity treatments (ICA-29, PS-27, ICA-62) required for interstate compliance.
