Myrtillocactus geometrizans cristata is a crested form of this well-known blue cactus, valued for its architectural, fan-shaped growth. This particular plant displays a smooth crested expression, with compressed ribs and very sparse to absent spination.
The smooth surface gives the plant a flowing, sculptural appearance that differs noticeably from more heavily ribbed or spined crested forms. As with all crested cacti, each specimen develops a unique shape and growth pattern.
