Oncidium Twinkle White is a compact orchid hybrid producing numerous small, fragrant white flowers on branched inflorescences. The blooms often appear in profusion, covering the plant during its flowering cycle. It has a clumping growth habit with tightly packed pseudobulbs and fine, upright leaves. Like other Twinkle types, it thrives in intermediate conditions with bright, filtered light and consistent moisture during active growth.
Care Tips:
Light: Prefers bright, filtered light. Tolerates some early morning or late afternoon sun.
Water: Water frequently while in active growth, allowing the medium to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce in winter.
Humidity: Performs best with 50–70% humidity and good air circulation.
Media: Fine to medium orchid bark mix, or sphagnum moss in smaller pots with excellent drainage.
Temperature: Intermediate growing; ideal range is 14–26 °C.
Fertiliser: Use diluted orchid fertiliser every 2 weeks during active growth. Flush monthly to avoid salt build-up.
Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when the media breaks down, ideally just after flowering.
