A distinctive hybrid philodendron known for its deeply lobed foliage and bright golden new growth. As leaves mature, they harden to green, creating strong contrast across the plant.

Care

  • Light: Bright, indirect light for best colour. Tolerates lower light but growth will slow.
  • Water: Allow the top layer of media to dry slightly between watering. Avoid staying wet.
  • Temperature: Prefers warm conditions, ideally 18–28°C.
  • Humidity: Moderate humidity preferred, but adapts to standard indoor conditions.
  • Media: Free-draining aroid mix (bark, perlite, coir/peat blend).
  • Feeding: Light, regular feeding during active growth.

Key Characteristics

  • Foliage: Narrow, deeply lobed leaves with a jagged appearance
  • New Growth: Bright golden to lime, fading to green with age
  • Growth Habit: Upright to slightly spreading, not a true climber
  • Size: Medium-growing hybrid, manageable indoors
  • Use: Ideal for adding texture and colour contrast to indoor collections
